Newspapers
Since their beginning, newspapers have been an important source for the public to receive information about community, national and international affairs. Not only do traditional newspapers contain objective news reports, they also contain columns that express the personal opinions of writers as well as comics, advertising, weather forecasts, reviews of movies plays and restaurants and advice, recipes and gossip.
The industrial revolution in the 19th Century prompted the beginning of advanced printing technology, which enabled newspapers to become more widely circulated than they ever had been before. This innovation made newspapers cheaper and thus more available to the population.
Publications
You can have many written forms published, from newspapers to magazines, journals books and online content. Publication is a technical terms in legal contexts and holds significance in copyright legislation. The right to publish work is an exclusive right of the copyright owner. Books
Books are perhaps one of the most important social tools of our time, reflecting the culture and heritage of humanity through either fictional or non-fictional storytelling. There are many different types of books that you can read including:

- non-fiction books such as history, science, art, language and travel non-fiction. Non-fiction books are reference books providing true information on a range of different topics. Other non-fiction books include dictionaries, encyclopaedias and atlases
