By Business Editor GREG ELLIS

THE Commonwealth Bank has appointed Jonathan Smith as a local business banker to service small-business clients from its Nowra, Kiama, Huskisson, Sanctuary Point and Ulladulla branches.

Mr Smith worked as a finance broker for four years before joining the Commonwealth Bank. The bank is expanding its business banking team in the region and that includes the appointment of Matthew Morgan as a local business banker to small-business clients serviced by the Dapto, Corrimal, Figtree, Shellharbour and Warrawong branches.

Mr Morgan worked for seven years in a locally owned and operated financial services business. He plays for Wollongong Lions Football Club and is involved in the Illawarra division of the Cancer Council.
