How do I access my money when in Latin America?
We recommend to a combination of debit card (ATM card) from your bank and cash. Your debit card will allow you to withdraw local currency at airports and most city locations. We suggest contacting your bank in advance to ensure that your card is working at international ATMs. While British Pounds and Australian Dollars are accepted and can be exchanged to local currency, US dollars are the preferred currency as it often can be spent directly (small notes and not creasy)
Am I physically fit enough for the trip?
Fitness requirements vary between trips. Our experts can advise you as to what level of fitness is required with different itineraries or customise your trip to suit your fitness level. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Do the Tour Guides speak English?
All tour guides are carefully selected and speak English as well as the local country language.
Will someone pick me up at the airport?
Yes, our Latin American Travel Experts will organise airport transfers to meet you at all the destinations throughout your trip. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name where you clear baggage collection or immigration. Your driver will speak at least basic English and will know your hotel.
Do I need electricity adapters in Latin America?
Yes, you need an adopter for Latin America. Unfortunately, there is no common outlet for this Region. The mostly used plug is the one found in Central Europe. However, adaptors are sold in almost all destinations. Generally if you have a 220v / 240v, you can plug it into a power source that has 110v / 120v without damaging your device, although some devices may not charge correctly.
